The ANCHOR Program is a comprehensive reentry initiative dedicated to helping justice-involved students overcome barriers and achieve their educational goals. We understand that returning to society after incarceration presents unique challenges, and our committed team provides the support needed to navigate this critical transition.
At the heart of our program is a simple belief: education and accountability are powerful tools for breaking the cycle of recidivism. We take a holistic approach because we know that challenges in one area of life—whether housing, transportation, or finances—can create ripple effects that impact overall success. Our team works alongside students with positivity and determination, guiding them through every step of their journey, from enrollment and financial aid to achieving graduation.
ANCHOR’s strength lies in our extensive network of community partnerships. We work closely with organizations throughout the region to ensure students have access to the resources and support they need.
Our partners include:
We also serve as a bridge for students in our Prison Education Program (PEP), supporting their transition from studying while incarcerated to joining our main campus as ANCHOR students.
Special Opportunity: Through our partnership with Judge Paula Jones and the North Little Rock Court system, eligible individuals may have the opportunity to settle fines or have charges dismissed by returning to school and completing their educational objectives.
ANCHOR students have access to a full range of resources designed to remove barriers to success:
